Everytime I get going the game crashes, on restart it crashes again at the exact spot again (and again, and again). Starting a new campaign is the only option….until it crashes again!

I have been waiting 4 hours to download this games then it desnt work. I i install on my MBP 15" 2012 i7 intel HD graphic 4000 and NDIVIA Gforce GT 650M. Please fix it.

Have been eagerly waiting for this game to come out on Mac. Works fine and is still my favorite Total War ! One cannot simply stop playing ...

Great job of creating Empire: Total War for Mac! Running on a Retina Macbook Pro the graphics are beautiful. There are occassional periods of slowness such as when opening does the diplomacy screen. But the battles run perfectly fine theres no glitches or slowness during the battles. A timeless classic one should have on their Mac. This game never gets old...

This is the greatest game on mac. Never bug and the graphic are amazing !! Buy it right now :D

The text in this game is incredibly hard to read. On my 13" macbook most of the text was fuzzy to the point of being completely unreadable. That computer met the minimun standards but is 4 years old. I also tried it on my new retina macbook pro and still the text is very poor quality and hard to read. The graphics are jittery and of poor quality. The game concepts are quite interesting. Unfortunately I find the naval battles really tedious. I wish you could play without them. There is an option to have th computer resolve battles for me but it loses where it should not.

Normally i read all the reviews and check for crashes and bugs. I read only 1 review saying it crashes and thought it was safe to buy. WRONG! Do not purchase this game as it crashes before it even opens to the main menu. I have since spent almost 8 hours checking over forums for fixes and updates and found there are 100s of reported bugs and crashes with no support offered by the company to fix these issues. I have filed my own support ticket without response from the company. If you wish to give away $40 then there are much better charity organizations to spend that on. This game is a bust.

in my opinion it is the best strategy game currently in the marketplace. It would be really fun for any hardcore strategy gamer and for those who like historically based games.

The game is prone to crashing once youve invested many many hours playing. Look at forumns online for games crashing during ai turn. You spend a month playing a game and when your near the end game it crashes and you lose the game. Other than the bugs it is an incredibly awesome game.

Never played a Total War game and took a gamble buying it. AMAZING GREATEST STRAGTEGY GAME EVER

I know Civ 5 has its problems but this game doesnt even come close to any of the better war sims. The graphics are horrendous and it doesnt save properly either. It just doesnt play well and becomes boring very quickly.

Works great on my MacBook Pro. intel i7. Even after setting all the graphics options to there maximum settings. Occasionally, the campaign map does not fully load and the city details and units are missing after fighting a battle. A quick save and reload fixes that problem until the next time. Other than that, a fantastic game. A must have for all RTS fans.

When I started playing, I noticed like many others that the resolution was horrible. I couldnt read any of the text and I did not have a very good experience. But the second time I opened the game, I fiddled around with the the settings at the start screen and changed the resolution of the game and now I can actually read what is going on. Hope this was helpful to users experiencing this problem ;)

It is able to display in all its glory on my macbook pro retina 15 despite not actually supporting retina graphics. I can read the text well enough and the battles are amazing. Such a comprehensive and well-rounded game. From the strategy and cunning needed to negiotate the turn based components to primal satiation of real time raw bloody battles in striking scenaries, a true classic. Hopefully further titles are converted.

Running on a 2012 MBP with 4GB of RAM, no bugs, no crashing, no problems. This game is incredible.

I had this game for a long time now because I was chipping away at the longest mode of the Grand Campaign. There are few minor glitces for me but nothing that makes it unplayable… until I got to turn 460. After putting litterally months of work into conquering India, Africa and South America (Americas Theather) It wouldnt load my saved game for me anymore!!!! It told me my save file was corrupt. Like I said SO MUCH EFFORT BUT I CANT CONTINUE. The App Store really should do a better job at testing these converted game before selling them. Feels like I have been ripped off.
